MZ was born and raised in South Africa and has been an “Angeleno” for 2 decades.  A lyricist and story teller, both through music and VFX, MZ’s artistry paints pictures that grapple with current issues while simultaneously creating a vibe.  MZ has pioneered as an exec for KnightVision Ent. and RedTie Productions.  His post production and design background includes a portfolio of work done on large scale projects at VFX studios to broadcast networks such as CBS and NBC.  While a lover of all art forms, music remains MZ’s main and first love.  After sharing stages with South African greats: Skeem, TKZee and Bongo Maffin as well as co-founding the rap duo TG1, his upcoming solo album “Epistomology – Knowledge of Self” encapsulates a riveting journey to self discovery.  We welcome you to come along as the journey unfolds.
